The expert committee DKE/K 371 prepares standards for all types of secondary cells and batteries (accumulators). This includes both the product and its safety, testing and safe application. The standardization work focuses on international standard series such as IEC 62485 and IEC 62619.
Tasks/topics of the expert committee:
- Development of safety requirements for rechargeable batteries, battery cells and battery systems with the focus on lithium-ion technology
- Preparation of product standards for all application areas such as stationary storage units, starter batteries, traction batteries and for batteries used in electric vehicles, pedelecs and portable applications
With your professional expertise and active collaboration in the committee DKE/K 371, you will assume an interface function between your organization/company and standardization.
